Rescue and help

I would like to thank all those who helped in my breakdown in Chartres. I am very gratefully touched by the response that was made for our call for help, especially Phillipe who arrived so promptly on his day off for fishing with some parts which enabled me to repair my bike, and all the others who assisted :amour:

Both Roger and I enjoyed our stay at Bertrix, with good company, and a glass of wine and some of the smelliest cheese I have encountered, and look forward to next year at your your next rally.

The drive back to Caen was approx 470kms and we arrived with no problems after an enjoyable days ride in hot sun.
back to England and home by 12.30 today, having travelled 1670kms in the week.

Again my thanks to you all for an enjoyable stay in some beautiful country

Hi Henry,
In accordance wiht Daniel,going fishing next wednesday (oncer more, but it's the mayflies days), I'll pass by Chartres to pick up your parcel at the campsite, to give it to Daniel who 'll send you back.
About my bits, if you don't mind, just remove them from your head and sent me back, I don't think they are worn'out !!
I think it's the simpliest way, but if you prefer another one, as you like it !!

I To would like to say that we had a great time at Bertrix. A special thanks to Claude and Danside for all your help and to Phillipe for rescueing us with the parts in Chartres and to you all for making us so welcome. My jeans in the photos have now been washed to remove the mud on my knees!
