Three of us have decided to make our travel arrangements to the Rally at Dourdan by going the long way.

The ferry is booked from Plymouth- Santander on the 29th May arriving Santander 12.00 Monday 30th.

We then plan to make our way over the Pyranees then head north across France till we reach the rally. This is a journey of approx 1300kms, (Projected route subject to alteration due to too much French hospitality and or wine) crossing the mountains via Vitoria-Gasteiz. Baztan, into France Orthez, Langon, Riberac, Nontron, Rochechouart, Bellac, Le Blanc, Blois, Dourdan

If any-one would like to join us on our trip north you would be welcome.

Plans are to meet Bren either at his house or if he can get the time of work, then he will join us en-route somewhere.

Any suggestions of places to visit would be welcome, or if anyone would like to take wine with us please do.

That's a very good idea and nice trip! I will be not at home (in France) at this time, and not exactly your planning road but if you need a place to camp, I can offer you nice place very close to Cognac.
There is no commodity, but for sure if rainning you will have a roof on your head...
It,s just an open proposition.

Ah oui, j'avais oublié de vous le dire.
Nos copains anglais trouvaient que Paris ça faisait trop près comme destination pour le rassemblement annuel de la RA.
Ils ont donc décidé de venir nous rejoindre... en passant par l'Espagne.

y a pas à dires, si ceux là non pas l'esprit qui d'autres?
je me réjouis de les revoir à Dourdan, je trouve que je les ais un peu délaissés les autres années, de part le fait d'avoir un hébergement en dur!
cete année un retour au sources, sa serait pas mal aussi pour certains , donc la toile est de rigueur et la bouteille qui réchauffe aussi.

Hier, un ami me fais part de certains faits, tel un traître je me suis sentis malade de chez malade, impuissant de rendre hommage à quelqu'un de bien.

A Dourdan la Belle on fera sauter les bouchons ( vous avez le choix : de vidange , de réservoir, de champagne,...)
