Je ne pouvais pas dépasser les 140 avec ; c’était trop dangereux. Je l’ai donc démonté pour l’installer dans la Continental : là, ça reste stable à 160.

I havent installed them. it is easier to move around the bike without them on.
they will fit straight on because I have removed identical ones but in alloy.
I have swapped the locks, so they match the topbox key.
I removed the French flag and green oval sticker (I dislike stickers), but I have kept the large Himalayan stickers, they suit my bike, it is white.
I will pop them on and take a photo for you, I will ask Fab to post it on the relevant thread (I cannot post photos on here, I no longer have a host site)

the alloy boxes will go on the 500 side, Henry has some frames for them, they will just need altering to fit.

Fair enough—it’s true that the Morvan doesn’t really ring a bell for you. As for the flag, you might as well just put up a Union Jack—unless, of course, you’re completely closed off to any form of patriotism. It’s handy to have a lock for everything, though—well played!

I dislike stickers, no union jack, it isn't a British bike. an Indian flag would be more approriate, and No, I am not patriotic, I am a european Mongrel.

I used to have a campervan, it's normal to have a sticker from places you visit.

RDV riders cover their bike panniers with rally stickers.

2cv people love a sticker.

I think it makes people feel they belong to a group?

I like merchandise though, clothing, sew on patches, mugs, pens, knives, coasters, enamel badges, I like the REA enamel badge, I have that on my bikes, even the Harley

LOL I remember at a rally someone happily riveting the enamel badge to their battery cover, and fitting it upside down mdr.

I would have left it upside down, that sort of thing ammuses me.
